| The Frederick network
connects to our upstream provider through a Cisco
router, which feeds into the load balancer and our
distribution switch. These then feed out to multiple
redundant mail, web, and radius servers, as well as
other devices. Bandwidth is supplied through Qwest and
Genuity for redundancy.
There are multiple servers spread over both sites for
each service. In case one server fails or requires
maintenance, we can simply take it out of the loop and
repair it without impacting customers. The multiple
layers of redundancy in the MyDigicom network provide a
level of stability and reliability unmatched in the
industry. |
